Cardin In China

WGSN has reported that Pierre Cardin is in talks with two Chinese firms to sell off his licenses in the country. Cardin, extending his precognitive abilities beyond fashion, was keen enough to begin investing in China as early is 1978 and has since built a considerable presence. For a designer whose collections are neither reported on or widely available, his name continues to generate substantial profits.

Cardin has declared that he wants to sell off his business, the whole package would cost 1 billion euro, a substantial sum. A sale of the designer’s name for RTW or even Haute Couture in the European and American markets would be something to look out for.
