If you’ve checked out the interview with Melanie Ward by Cathy Hoyrn in the 0 issue of The Gentlewoman you would have read that the long time Helmut Lang collaborator not only styles clothes but she designs them as well. So it’s no surprise that she’s paired up with Graham Tabor for a 35 piece collection called Blouson Noir.

Ward’s involvement with Lang extended beyond the role of stylist, going as far as giving design direction for the women’s studio. Her placement as creative director for the brief incarnation of a New York based Lagerfeld line pushed that aesthetic forward. Now, dozens of young designers are finding inspiration in the body of work that Lang and Ward developed in their 13 year relationship.
