Jaqueline De Ribes, 1989

The wife a banker, Jacqueline was an aristocrat who understood the needs of her class so thoroughly she went ahead and designed for it, opening up her own salon in 1983. Such a venture could easily become a vomitrocity considering other spectacles designed for her kind at the time, but Jacqueline proved to be a beacon of modernity and good taste. She would later retire due to health reasons in 1994.
